At Kentwood:

1. This location started at Endeavor Elementary School


2. Our building was originally a fitness center with one of the biggest rock climbing walls in West Michigan in what is now the center of our Auditorium! 🧗


3. We moved into this building in 2013!


  • What’s a worship experience like?

    The worship experience is around 65 minutes and includes a time of worship with a live, in-person band followed by a message and then a little more music.

  • What should I wear?

    Encounter Church is a casual environment, so feel free to wear whatever makes you most comfortable.

  • What about my kids?

    Have kids birth–5th grade? We have a Kids! worship experience just for them where they will watch a video lesson, worship, learn Biblical teachings, and memorize scripture! Together, with a small group leader and kids their age, they learn about the Bible, how to have a relationship with God, and have fun developing friendships with each other.
